Yes, this is possible.

Have the trigger execute a dynamic property that prompts user to confirm
via
drop down selection (yes/no). A follow up trigger will then read the
value
of the DP. If the DP = yes then go ahead and do whatever. If the DP = no
then stop

Subject: [vassalengine] Verifying button press

Hi all,

Just wondering if anything like this is possible.

I have 2 entries in the right-click menu on a card. Both are discard
commands, but one is to return to the deck and the other to remove the
card from the game permanently.

I would like to give the player a chance to change his mind if he hits
the 'remove from game' option by accident. I'm thinking of a pop-up
dialog, something like 'Are you sure to want to remove this card' and
have 'Yes'/'No' buttons.

Is anything like this possible in VASSAL?

If it is not possible, does anyone have a good idea of how to
implement a way to warn a player of something like this?

Thanks,

Dave Neumann
