Yeah, but I can only find Java 5 executables on the system that have been downloaded with vassal. All the other java.exe files are hidden by Vista's junctions in the new file structure. Thank Microsoft from preventing us from accessing files on our computer :-/. I'll try to examine how junctions work in my spare time (ha ha).
I can access Java 6.0, and tried adding run time variables, but didn't succeed, as you may guess. I am satisfied with Java 5.0 as it does work running the module, and I'm very happy to have my laptop LCD at 1920x1200 instead of my desktop at 1600x1200. As you may know, the WiF module is so darn big you cannot launch the module from the Vassal weblaunch because of it's beefy memory requirements. For some reason the default memory size when weblaunching is 256M or something similar. My question is, why can't Java allocate memory as needed? It seems to put itself in a box which reduces the flexibility of a multi-purpose language.
