Maybe it's the wrong file type or the file got mangled by one of your email programs. You should be able to take any saved game, change the extension to .zip, unzip it and see a single file named 'savedGame' If you see something different, it's not a VASSAL saved game file. rk [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]
