Chiming in late on this one, I've just started looking into v3.0.latest thanks to rk's sending me a beta of a v3-capable VASL modfile.
But shouldn't 'Moving stacks should pick up non-moving pieces' be a module setting, rather than a user-pref? & if the pref is checked ON, will it override a selection-set made from an expaneded stack? ctrman(CX)
