Hi all,
I was hoping someone with some technical insight on VASSAL could give me
a hand getting OCS Tunisia running. Right now, all I get is the pregame
dialog ("Look for a game online", etc.) and then a large blank window
that stalls out. I don't see VASSAL running away with CPU/Mem in top -
it just seems to hang completely. If I close the window, I can briefly
see what might be the control bar flash at the top of the screen just
before the window finishes closing. I can play Fire in the Sky and ASL
just fine, so there can't be anything too dreadfully wrong with my
installation. I've tried both the Tunisia versions (2.8 and 2.9) as well
as couple of VASSAL versions and a couple of Java versions (1.4 and
1.6), but always get the same result. The machine runs Debian Sid. Any
tips for how to debug the issue? Or does anyone have a known good
combination of Java/VASSAL/Tunisia versions that they can share? All
help is appreciated.
