*Position : Sr. Mobile Device Developer * Location : Chevy Chase , MD Duration : 6 + months *Requirements: * 5+ yrs experience with web and/or mobile application development. Must have demonstrated full life cycle experience analyzing, developing and maintaining large-scale, mission-critical applications in a dynamic enviroment. Excellent problem solving skills, creativity, and a passion to produce great results are a must! It’s vital this person also be able to understand how things work natively across a variety of phone types, including iPhone, Android and BlackBerry, and be able to troubleshoot issues with these devices. Ideally would have experience developing for at least two different device types and be the kind of person who is very quick at picking up a new one. They may need to develop or help develop native apps. Must be a good team player but also able to work independently. Java & Eclipse background would be very helpful, as most of day to day development uses a vendor tool that plugs into Eclipse and is very similar to Java. Also, strong experience with the web and especially mobile web is desired. Specific experience in iPhone, Android, or mobile web development is a big plus, as is experience with web application architecture and infrastructure and systems integration. ***HM is looking for jack of all trades who can code, debug complex issues, work w/systems dept & vendor to resolve infrastructure issues, & of course be strong on systems design; can handle variety of things including infrastructure issues & pretty deep problem solving across range of mobile devices & technologies, including mobile web.
