*Position: Web Services Test Engineer* *Location: Chicago, IL* *Start: ASAP* *Duration: Contract till end of year (with strong possibilities of extension when they get the New Year budget approvals)* *There will be a phone followed by face to face interview * * * * * *WEB SERVICES TEST ENGINEER RESPONSIBILITIES:* - Play an active role in an agile team while writing and executing automated and manual tests - Report significant defects to the team and test defects fixes - Analyze test results and analyze defects prior to escalating to the development team for resolution - Work closely with the development team to develop automated and manual testing strategies *JOB QUALIFICATIONS:* - 3-5 years of experience in a quality assurance team environment - Understanding of Agile Methodology and other software development methodologies - Experience with test automation frameworks - Experience Testing Web Services mandatory (REST, SOAP, etc.) - Experience in creating and maintaining automation tests - Must possess a willingness and aptitude to embrace new ideas and master concepts rapidly - Strong organizational and problem solving abilities - Excellent communication, listening, and interpersonal skills *NICE TO HAVE:* Testing and Development: 4 - 6 Years Agile Development: 1 - 2 Years User Acceptance Testing: 2 - 4 Years *ADDITIONAL SKILLS:* - Mandatory understanding of Web Services (REST, SOAP, etc) - Experience with SOA Test and/or SOAP UI is a plus - Must have experience with automation for Web Services applications *Best Regards,* *Allen Paul** *|* **ProSoft Technology Group, Inc.
