Enterprise level experience with Business Intelligence projects

Teradata SQL & BTEQ knowledge is MUST

Familiar with Teradata environment and operated on MultiLoad, TPump, Fast
Load and Fast Export

Expert in design

Design, creating and tuning physical database objects (tables, views,
indexes) to support normalized and dimensional models.

Design and instantiation of the physical data model in the data warehouse /
data marts.

Demonstrated analytical, technical, and communication capabilities

 Very good Knowledge of SQL programming; preferably Teradata SQL, however
knowledge of Oracle, Sybase, MS SQL Server or other RDBMS systems will also
be considered

 An understanding of Retail Reporting and/or Retail Concepts

 Ability to prioritize assignments, handles shifting deadlines, and work
independently as well as in a team environment.

 Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability
to present complex ideas to technical and non-technical audiences.

 Excellent analytical and problem solving skills with an understanding of
existing and emerging technologies.

 Ability to prioritize workload and work well under pressure to meet
deadlines and manage business expectations.

 Willing to travel extensively as required

 Previous experience using ETL tools such as Datastage or Informatica is
plus.

 Previous experience using BI tools such as Business Object, MicroStrategy,
Cognos or Microsoft BI is plus.
