*Position: System Administrator 4* *Location: Harrisburg, PA* *Duration: 3 - 6 Months* *VISA Status: No Constraints* *Pay Rate: $Open/hr * *Either Go To Meeting Web Cam or In Person interview* The System Administrator is responsible for providing support for data center infrastructure services including Windows and Linux server administration *Position Purpose:* This position works within the Enterprise Data Center (EDC) in the Commonwealth Technology Center (CTC) in the Bureau of Compute and Messaging Services. This position provides support for the EDC data center infrastructure services including Windows and Linux server administration, Active Directory services, Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) administration, Patch Management and systems and application monitoring. Knowledge advantageous for this position includes experience with Microsoft Windows administration, Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) and Microsoft System Center Operations Manager (SCOM). Proven experience in troubleshooting technical issues, working in a multi-team environment along with excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential for this position. *Description of Duties:* · Provides customer support for troubleshooting issues within the EDC. · Administers and maintains an enterprise Active Directory environment. · Maintains and supports enterprise Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) services. · Works with clients and other technical teams to define requirements for monitoring systems and applications deployed within the EDC. · Configures, maintains and documents custom monitoring solutions. · Deploys, configures, administers and upgrades EDC’s Microsoft System Center Operations Manager (SCOM) implementation. · Develops patch management plan for applying patches to EDC servers in a multi-tiered environment. · Participates in monthly patching cycle to apply patches and monitor compliance. · Deploys, configures, administers and upgrades EDC’s Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) implementation. · Develops and maintains Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for EDC processes. · Maintains current knowledge of enterprise policies and procedures including IT Bulletins, Management Directives, CISO security recommendations and EDC practices in order to ensure service offerings are in compliance with established policies. *Skills* *Required / Desired* *Yrs of Exp* Enterprise experience working in a Windows (2003/2008) environment Required 5 Years Enterprise experience and demonstrated technical proficiency in Unix/Linux Administration Required 3 Years Enterprise experience and demonstrated technical proficiency in Microsoft PKI Required 3 Years SCCM packaging and application deployment in an enterprise network Required 3 Years SCCM deployment of security patches Required 3 Years SCCM report and query writing Required 3 Years Systems Center Operation Manger (SCOM) administration experience Required 1 Years Experience working in a Data Center Environment Required 3 Years Experience working in Change Management atmosphere consisting of detailed policies/procedures Required 3 Years Experience troubleshooting technical issues Required 3 Years Excellent written and verbal communication skills Required Enterprise level Active Directory 2003/2008 Administration experience Highly Desired 3 Years Enterprise level IIS Administration experience Highly Desired 3 Years Experience working in a multi-team environment Required 3 Years Regards, *Ramesh,* HYR Global Source Inc.
