*Job Summary:*
We are seeking a highly experienced *Data Governance Lead* to drive
enterprise data governance initiatives with a focus on *data cataloging,
metadata management, and governance frameworks*. The ideal candidate will
possess over 15 years of IT experience and demonstrate deep expertise in
implementing and managing data governance tools and practices.
This is an *onsite role based in Dallas, TX*, and is best suited for a
local candidate who can engage with cross-functional stakeholders and
technical teams to define and operationalize enterprise data governance
standards.

*Key Responsibilities:*
- Lead the design, requirement gathering, and implementation of *enterprise
data catalog solutions*
- Oversee *metadata management* and *data discovery automation* across
the organization
- Work collaboratively with business and technical teams to define data
governance policies and enforce roles and responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with governance frameworks and support regulatory
data initiatives
- Provide thought leadership on *data stewardship, classification, and
lineage*

*Required Skills:*
- Strong understanding of *data governance best practices*, especially
around ownership, stewardship, and accountability
- Extensive hands-on experience with *data cataloging tools* such as:
- *Alation*
- *PKWare*
- *Manta*
- *Collibra*
- Proven ability to define and implement enterprise metadata strategies
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
