In the VM configuration I have provided access to the USB printer - and the configuration displays it's manufacturer and model name.
In the windows client, I tried to install the driver for this printer from cdrom. After startng the driver install, a banner popped up titled looking for new hardware, stating "be sure the printer is connected and popwered on" which it is. However, this banner remains up forever. The installation software is never able to find the printer. The device manager does not show it either. What else do I need to do to give windows access to the same physical printer that the linux host is using? If I cannot access it as a device in windows, I will have to resort to exporting it in the host via samba, and let windows use it as a network shared printer. _______________________________________________ vbox-dev mailing list [email protected] http://vbox.innotek.de/mailman/listinfo/vbox-dev
