We do automated, staged building of ISOs for different platforms in VMs and are then fetched and packaged into the final ISO. This is non-trivial to setup and there are no ready-made instructions for this.
You could have a look the root Makefile.kmk and src/VBox/Additions/Makefile.kmk for a start.
