Steps:
Remove the auto-shared folder in the devices menu of the guest.
Reboot the guest (cold boot)
Delete the /media/sf_share folder
This actually deletes the entire content on the host that was shared
except the protected files/folders.
Since this was the ~/ on the host you can see the major issue. I can
recover from backup but was going to switch to Debian anyway.
Still this could be devastating.
