currently there is a problem using VirtualBox 6.0.10 and 6.0.12 in
combination with debian/buster64 (kernel 4.19.0-5-amd64). The vbox guest
additions fail to build.

Details:
VirtualBox Guest Additions: Building the VirtualBox Guest Additions kernel
modules. This may take a while.
VirtualBox Guest Additions: To build modules for other installed kernels,
run
VirtualBox Guest Additions: /sbin/rcvboxadd quicksetup <version>

VirtualBox Guest Additions: Running kernel modules will not be replaced
until the system is restarted
An error occurred during installation of VirtualBox Guest Additions 6.0.12.
Some functionality may not work as intended.
In most cases it is OK that the "Window System drivers" installation failed.

From /var/log/vboxadd-setup.log:
Could not find the X.Org or XFree86 Window System, skipping.
modprobe vboxguest failed

From /var/log/vboxadd-setup.log.1:
Could not find the X.Org or XFree86 Window System, skipping.

From /var/log/vboxadd-setup.log.2
Building the main Guest Additions 6.0.12 module for kernel 4.19.0-5-amd64.
Building the shared folder support module.
Building the graphics driver module.
Could not find the X.Org or XFree86 Window System, skipping.

Can“t find any real error messages why the build fails.

Setup: VirtualBox 6.0.12, Vagrant 2.2.6, Box debian/buster64, fails during vagrant up

Sorry, I cannot reproduce this running a default Debian 10 installation
as guest.

Could you be a bit more specific about your installation?
