Just a heads-up to all the distro maintainers that read this list. I
have not
found a fix that works to allocate executable memory in vboxdrv. When
kernel
5.8.0 is released, EVERY VM on a host trying to run that kernel will
break! The
ticket shown above has my fixes for the other API changes in 5.8, but
the
removal of the exports to allocate executable memory are not fixed.
Thank you for this information , the newest VirtualBox 6.1.12 bring any
news about kernel 5.8 ?
There is no mention in the changelog.
