No, we will not switch to Discord or Slack. The mailing list is also acting as an archive for previous threads which is not possible or sucks with Discord or Slack. For some more instant messaging like experience we have the #vbox-dev IRC channel on OFTC, but don’t expect to get immediate feedback for any questions there because developers are not monitoring the channels constantly and also mind timezone differences.
