Unfortunately I have no contact for asking to help in such a case (the
"external" login). I heard of a few cases in the last weeks but had to
tell them the same thing.
For me the "Oracle SSO" functionality is a rather large black box, and
only when it returns successfully to virtualbox.org I have a chance to
influence anything.
What I can offer if you can't get your existing OSSO account going: if
you get a new OSSO account created I can associate your forum nick with it.
