Hi,
we have a special user 'vbox' who is responsible for VirtualBox.
Everything works fine and all commands show expected results:
----------------------------------------------------------------------
% VBoxManage list runningvms
VirtualBox Command Line Management Interface Version 3.0.12
(C) 2005-2009 Sun Microsystems, Inc.
All rights reserved.
"vmmain" {8c3c643e-3c95-4e71-b594-3abbb25e0ce1}
----------------------------------------------------------------------
If I try to check status as root I'm getting wrong answers
----------------------------------------------------------------------
# VBOX_USER_HOME=/home/vbox/.VirtualBox VBoxManage list runningvms
VirtualBox Command Line Management Interface Version 3.0.12
(C) 2005-2009 Sun Microsystems, Inc.
All rights reserved.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Getting a list of all vms with 'VBoxManage list vms' shows the same
result with vbox and root user.
Why these different behaviour with 'VBoxManage list runningvms'?
Thanks in advance
Willi
P.S. it's a Solaris 10U8 x86 System with VirtualBox 3.0.12
