I'm using VirtualBox 4.0.2 under Mac OS X.6.5.

I had a VM running fine (eComStation 1.2r) when a bug in the file
manager muCommander caused the desktop to disappear, then restart, just
as tho I were logging in again. Except that all the apps that had been
running now no longer were.

On starting VirtualBox again I noticed that the VM that had been running
before the mishap was still described as 'Running'. But hitting the
'Show' button does nothing: the VM window never shows up.

I would like to send a Ctrl-Opt-Del instruction to the VM to get it to
shut itself down gracefully, but I couldn't find in the manual -- or
didn't recognize -- a way to do that. Is that possible, or do I have to
Quit the VM brutally?

Suggestions would be much appreciated.
