Hi Giles,

Welcome to the list.

As you know, in order to post to the list, you must subscribe. This
simple action has eliminated all but this one spam message. I'd say
we're doing very well (thanks go to Fernando).

When a spammer hits the list (without subscribing), the Admin's
(Fernando and myself), simply ignore the message and after 24h, it
gets deleted from the Admin queue.

For non-spam messages, we send a (template) message to the end-user
requesting they sign up before posting.

All in all, it's very simple to Admin this list with over 400
world-wide subscribers.

Oh yes, occasionally I carp on people for not judiciously editing
Reply's. I'm such a pain in the neck but as an Admin, I get one
little perk (notice I've chosen editing over top-posting :) ... which
I'm not keen on top-posting either but ...)

Cheers,
