Hi;

  First, I really like having VirtualBox. It is very cool.

  Secondly, I do very little configuration/customization; just
basically use VirtualBox "out of the box".

  Here's my current problem.

  I start VirtualBox 4.1.4 (host is Windoze XP SP3); immediately a
popup window opens notifying me that I'm running extensions version
4.1.2 and that 4.1.4 version is available, do I want to download.

  I respond affimatively. Then it downloads. Then immediately after
that a popup window opens asking me if I want to install the 4.1.4
version of extensions.

  I respond affirmatively.

  Then I get an error popup with the following info. How do I proceed
at this point? Why does this happen? It looks like a bug to me. I'm
not worried or upset about this, just notifying you guys and wanting
to know how to fix this.

Failed to install the Extension Pack C:/Documents and
Settings/kwolcott/.VirtualBox/Oracle_VM_VirtualBox_Extension_Pack-4.1.4.vbox-extpack.

The installer failed with exit code 1: VBoxExtPackHelperApp.exe:
error: Failed to rename the extension pack directory:

rcExit=1.

Result Code: E_FAIL (0x80004005)
Component: ExtPackManager
Interface: IExtPackManager {3295e6ce-b051-47b2-9514-2c588bfe7554}
