I have no experience running VM VirtualBox prior to using it to evaluate
different Linux Distributions.
I am running v4.2.0-80737 -Win on a laptop and have installed the
appropriate Extension Pack.
I have successfully installed and evaluated five different linux
distributions without any problems with regard to using VirtualBox
The problem is that I can't seem to control the availability of some of the
options in the View pull down box. VirtualBox seems to randomly determine
if all of the options will be available. Currently only three option are
available (with other virtual machines use the full window):
Switch to Fullscreen
Switch to Scale Mode
Adjust Window Size
As a consequence, I am only able to use a small window in the laptop screen.
Switch to Fullscreen works, but it's really ugly as the screen resolution is
really bad. How can I force the virtual machine to use the entire screen
with better resolution?
Any help will be appreciated.
