I added my USB stick as a new filter, then unplugged it from my host
machine, then started my Win XP VM, then plugged it in to my host
machine. Win XP found it no problem.
I copied the file from the VM to the USB stick and then shut down the
VM. The host automatically mounted the USB stick when I shut down the
VM. I copied the file from the USB stick. Life is good.
