Emne: [VBox-users] Printing From Dos 6.22

I have VirtualBox 4.2.6 installed on a Windows XP host running a Dos 6.22 guest.

I have a slip printer connected to a local parallel port on the host. Running
the command echo "test" > lpt1 works inside the the Dos console on the host. I
am using the Generic Text printer driver.

I configured the guest using:

VBoxManage modifyvm <vmname> --lptmode1 lpt1
VBoxManage modifyvm <vmname> --lpt1 0x3F8 4

When running the same echo "test' > lpt1 on the guest, nothing prints?

Please assist. Can passthrough mode be used this way?

Regards
Hendre
