At this point I really don't remember.  I might have changed disc
type from PIIX3 to ICH9.  But at any rate I have now tried both and
still have no keyboard input

I sound like a darned dope, but I'm not sure about that either.
Judging from the downloaded binaries still in ~/Download.  Looks like
it might have been 4.1.32-92798 Win exe.

I've noticed an announcement about 4.3.14 being released... but when I
check for updates in 4.3.12... it tells me I'm running the latest. 

Is it likely that upgrading to 4.3.14 would result in a working
keyboard input situation?
