Can you export it to OVF then import the OVa/OVF in VBox?

Ideally you shouldnt just convert disk formats. OVA/OVF was created to
address the problem of moving virtual machines between virtualization
solutions, as it packs not only disk content but also config information
for the VM.

If you have obtained this vhdx from somewhere else/somebody tell
them/him/her to package the VM as OVF
