Hi; I've installed Debian Jessie RC1 as a VirtualBox Guest OS.
I'd like to be able to expand the size of the window, therefore I need to install the Guest Additions. The compilation fails due to not being able to find the Linux kernel sources. I have no idea where my Linux kernel source is (probably I did not install it). I do not know what directory path to provide for KERN_DIR. I thought earlier versions of the Guest Additions would provide more definitive hints to resolve Guest Additions build failures; perhaps those were for different platforms. I don't have networking set up yet (no scp) and I am unable to copy&paste so the only other option I can see for me to add more information to this request for assistance is to use a mac screenshot (my VirtualBox host is Mac Book Pro running Yosemite). The output of dpkg -l | grep kernel seems strange (way too few debs in my opinion) and the results of apt-cache search kernel does not seem very helpful. I'm more used to using Ubuntu as my VirtualBox Guest OS, this is my first Debian install under VirtualBox.
