O/S Ubuntu 14.04 (host, linux Bridge VM, Server VM)

The Linux bridge VM has a bridged interface to the network and bridged
Interface (internal net) to the Server VM(also on the internal net)
The Linux bridge appears to receive and transmit broadcast traffic. The Server
VM behind the bridge appears to receive/transmit
Broadcast traffic. However, when the server tries to ping a host on the network
the Host, nor the linux bridge, nor the Server VM
Receive the Arp-reply destined for the Server VM. I tried bridging the "Server
VM" to the interface wlan0 i.e. removing the linux
Bridged VM from the equation and the "Server VM" can ping, download updates,...
I can ping the host from the Server VM
And I can ping the Server VM from the host.

Anyone have any suggestions on how I can get the host interface or maybe linux
bridge VM to pass traffic to the
Server VM other than broadcast traffic or ARP requests?

Thank you
raymond

Mobile security can be enabling, not merely restricting. Employees who
bring their own devices (BYOD) to work are irked by the imposition of MDM
restrictions. Mobile Device Manager Plus allows you to control only the
apps on BYO-devices by containerizing them, leaving personal data untouched!
