There is a way to show the status of each VM from the command line.
Just start a command prompt (Start Menu-> Run, type cmd.exe -> press [enter])
Then type

VboxManage showvminfo "Name of your VM here, enclosed in quotes"

You will get a long list of parameters, including near the end of the list:

I assume you have installed the Guest Additions on all guests?
