Hi,
I am trying to install VirtualBox on a freshly installed Fedora 25 system and
am having some troubles. Here's what I'm getting from the rpm command:
fc25-bash 4.3 /isos# rpm -ivh VirtualBox-5.1-5.1.8_111374_fedora24-1.x86_64.rpm

error: Failed dependencies:
libvpx.so.3()(64bit) is needed by
VirtualBox-5.1-5.1.8_111374_fedora24-1.x86_64
I have had some success with resolving similar issues by merely making a link
for the desired version to the "current" version of the object in question.
This is not working in this case. I issued "ln -s libvpx.so.4.0.0 libvpx.so.3"
in /usr/lib64... but that's not working.
Is there something else I need to do? ldconfig perhaps?
