This bug report does provide a LOT of useful info. Somehow VBox Manager is requesting (or it's being garbled in X somewhere)... the final request is 800x-28. Argh. It seems there was a commit to fix the bug on the windowmaker side? Perhaps there has been a regression? I can't help because I only run XFCE. But you are more than welcome to comment and attach you logs on the above mentioned bug and see what devs have to say. Perhaps someone else can chime in with more ideas..
