Using the KDE Plasma desktop, when I try to install the guest additions, I get the following in
/var/log/vboxadd-setup.log
Could not find the X.Org or XFree86 Window System, skipping
kernel odules services were not reloaded
It seems to me that the guest additions install is assuming x11 is available and it is no longer
available with the KDE desktop.
I was able to get the guest additions to build using the lxde desktop and the
6.11.4-301.fc41.x86_64 version of the kernel.
The resizing of the screen works (in the LXDE desktop), but shared folders do
not.
When I switch to the KDE Plasma desktop, the resizing does not work.
Is there some proper way to install the Guest additions on Fedora-41 with the
KDE desktop ?
