Hi Matthias,

Please note, you need to update Guest Additions, not host side package to make
it work.

There is no official support as such (we do not provide packages for rolling
Linux distributions), but we are trying to make fixes to make it running as
time permits. I don't know what is the exactly reason for it not to boot, but I
recently noticed that there might be an issue when VM is configured using
VMSVGA graphics. I managed to boot the guest with VBoxVGA graphics though.

Best regards,
Vadim

Just a small remark. There is NO Fedora 43 (yet), fedora is still on 41:

Vadim,

Thanks for responding.

I just tested this "fix" with VirtualBox-7.1.97-167376-Linux_amd64.run
 with, unfortunately, the same results.

Best regards,

George...

By the way. Do you know what the status of VB support for CentOS-Stream is? I
can't get their iso install disk to boot.

Hi George,

This should be already fixed in the latest test builds.

Howdy,

I'm guessing that this should be a trouble ticket so someone in support can
take a look at it. Am I wrong?

Host is Fedora 43 (rawhide), Guest is the same.

Running dnf upgrade installed a lot of packages including
virtualbox-guest-additions;

Building the main Guest Additions 7.0.23 module for kernel
6.14.0-0.rc1.15.fc42.x86_64.

Building the shared folder support module.
Error building the module. Build output follows.
