I still hope they can do something with it, at least issue on Github is
never a bad thing.
There are accessible apps on QT such as Teamtalk.

This isn't a recent issue, and it is true under gtk3 in
GNU/Linux. The situation is better than it used to be, but this is probably the
best they can do using the QT
interface. I suspect for this to be fully solved there would need to
be a native windows/gtk/whatever else interface, which likely won't
happen.
