Fernando,

Thanks for responding.

This suggestion about adding a warning "if rawhide" is a GREAT suggestion... I
completely agree.

At install of the new version ov VB "this time", after re-installing the kernel
to get "debug" info was an error message while building kernel modules. I have
not seen this error message in quite some time... Luck of the draw I suspect.

I'll reinstall the earlier version of VB which was working just fine. I usually
go bleeding edge with software so I can help identify problem areas and,
subsequently, report them.

Thanks for the info and the GREAT suggestion.

Best regards,

George...

FEDORA RAWHIDE is more bleeding edge than a Fedora release. Nowhere in the VBox
docs it says RAWHIDE is supported.
So basically you're testing a bleeding edge kernel and expect it to just work.
It doesn' t.

I think it would be wise for the VBox devs to put a check for the rawhide
strings and show a terse warning like "unsupported, don' t complain if it
breaks..."

Just y $0.02
FC
(And nothing personal to the original poster, just a bystander observation
after seeing rawhide users come to this list to complain every almost once a
month...)
