I am attempting to get vbox running ubuntu 6.06 as a guest with win xp
(media center) as host. The hardware is a HP notebook (Pavillion
dv6000) with an AMD turion 64 x2 CPU.

If I run any apps (the installer, terminal, etc) for ubuntu under X I
get a lot of repeated keys, if I switch to a shell on a virtual
terminal with alt-2, I don't get the repeated characters.

I tried this with no ioapic and ioapic enabled. ACPI was enabled also.

A few things I noticed:

hwclock segfaults during kernel boot

if I run 'date' in a shell in succession quickly the date changes too
fast - ie if it takes me a second to press up arrow then return, the
date will have changed by around a min.

the text cursor on vt2 blinks really spastically

I've attached the vbox log file in case it helps. Anybody got ideas
on how to fix this?
