VirtualBox emulates a standard Intel ac97 codec (82801AA). I assume that
Windows 95 did not yet had a driver for this sound card yet. But perhaps
you could look on intels website

http://downloadfinder.intel.com/scripts-df-external/Product_Filter.aspx?ProductID=816&lang=eng

and select Windows 95. Perhaps these drivers work, we cannot guarantee it.
