All,
I'm running virtualBox on FC6 and setting up guests with bridged
interfaces doesn't work.
The tapX interface is configured:
bridge name bridge id STP enabled interfaces
br0 8000.000cf199d70b no tap0
eth1
but attempting to use it results in
this error when starting the VM:
Failed to initialize Host Interface Networking.
At '/home/vbox/lnx-rel/src/VBox/Main/ConsoleImpl.cpp' (5018) in static
int Console::configConstructor(VM*, void*).
VBox status code: -3100 VERR_HOSTIF_INIT_FAILED
.
