Hi,

maybe my initial inquiry (below) was too lengthy to deserve a response.
In short:

Can anyone provide a clue, why running ./configure in the
VirtualBox 1.3.2 open source edition fails on Slackware with
an error message that library or include files for Xcursor
        cannot be found?

I have extended my PATH variable to include every possible location for
those files, but that didn't help. In fact, I meanwhile suspect the error
message to be misleading. All the files are there and included in the
search path, and access rights are sufficient. Therefore I'd not be
surprised, if anything else is wrong.

Thanks to everyone providing a clue how to track this down!
