Does this new rpm support the OpenSuse 10.2 sysfs implementation of usb?

If you Google /proc/bus/usb OpenSuse 10.2 vmware, you will find many hits
referring to a change in Suse 10.2 that prevents guests from seeing USB
devices, that usually involves recompiling the kernel with USB support:

http://www.vmware.com/community/thread.jsp...492&#533492

1. Install kernel-sources and kernel-syms
2. copy .config and Modules.symvers from /usr/src/linux-obj/<your kernel> to
/usr/src/linux
(Note: on my 10.2 system this was already setup with symlinks. I simply cd to
/usr/src/linux and continued with the following commands)
3. make oldconfig
4. make menuconfig, select the usbfs (found in Device Drivers > USB Support >
USB device filesystem)
5. make modules && make modules_install (have a cuppa - takes a while to
complete)
6. change noauto to auto for the usbfs in fstab
7. reboot
8. ta-da

Don't forget to reinstall your nvidia driver (if applicable), and to
reconfigure vmware with "vmware-config.pl".

Works with the default 10.2 kernel and vmware w'station 5.5.3.

Other than that, 1.3.6 is working great.

Thanks,
-Michael
