Hi Alexey,

I can't answer your question re: VPC however I thought I'd share my
experience using snapshots.

They work as advertised.  I believe there's an enhancement request to allow
multiple branches rather than a degenerate case:

        *----> [snap #1 ] ---> [snap #2] ... [snap #N]

Verus what I'd like to see is:

                *-----
               /      \
         [snap #a]  [snap #1]
             /            \
         [snap #b]      [snap #2]
                           /\
                          /  \
                   [snap #x] [snap #y]

What feature I like about VirtualBox is the ability to merge a snapshot with
the previous snapshot.  It's not obvious from the right-click'ed menu that
when you 'discard' at the previous level, you are about to merge.  I should
submit an enhancement to get the menu cleaned up.
