Hello,

I am a new user with respect to virtual machines as well as new to
Linux/ ubuntu..
I am using Windows 2000 as the host with (3) HDD P4 2 gb RAM. During
the CD install of Ubuntu as Guest at the "Partitioning hard drives step"
I have selected "Manual" as my choice for configuration Ubuntu then
changes to a screen that shows me: IDE1 (hda) drive 2.1 gb vbox hard disk.
Selecting that choice Ubuntu takes me to a screen that now advises me
that partitioning the Vbox hard disk will erase ALL of the disk.
I am assuming that means all of my (C) drive (hda) will be erased (80
gig) and destroy my Windows 2000 system installation in the process?
Realizing Ubuntu is telling me this and not VBox, I am trying to
understand how to continue safely with the guest install from this point.
Or point me in the correct direction for information.

Thanks Norman
