I've down a complete install of vbox and the guest OS. It'll work if its natted but not bridged. The system monitor can see the pings from the guest OS on tun, but not on tap1 , so its not going down the pipe. Unfortunately tcpdump will only look at eth0 or br0, the only activity on br0 is a cups BC.
