Are you accessing the VM thru Windows Remote Desktop Client ?
If yes, try sending ctrl-alt-del the same way as if when connected to a
regular RDP server. I think you must press ctrl-alt-End (or PgDown).
It is described in the Remote Desktop help.

David

Subject: [vbox-users] inserting ctrl+alt+del into a guest running over vrdp

-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE-----
Hash: SHA1

Hello all.

The subject pretty much asks my question. Is it possible to insert
ctrl+alt+del into a guest which is running via vrdp? I've searched the
virtualbox.org site, as well as looking through the manual,
(especially through the vboxmanage chapter), but didn't
find an answer to this question. If that answer does exist already,
then simply a pointer to the url/manual page number/wherever else
would be much appreciated.

One way that I could think of to do this is to save the machine's state,
bring it up locally, use hostkey+del, save the machine's state, and
bring it up in vrdp again. However, this isn't particularly elegant,
and it wouldn't work in all situations, (I.E. if the guest is running
on a headless server for example). Any help would be much appreciated,
and thanks in advance.

Greg
