Thanks I will wait for the next version. It actually happens in all
programs, not just MS Office programs. I found the IRC group and one of the
Ops had me update my guest additions, which I had not. Now I am finding that
I can use the guest to host copy/paste function, but not the bidirectional
function. That one fails every time. How soon with the new version come
out??

Hello Susan,

This is a known problem in VirtualBox 1.5.0, which will be fixed when
1.5.2 is released in a few days time.  It is often triggered when the
Microsoft Office clipboard manager (in the guest OS) interferes with
ours, which can be worked around if necessary by temporarily disabling
the Office clipboard.  If you can wait for the few days though, you are
probably better just upgrading to 1.5.2.
