Hi,

I came across the following procedure on the list I think which helped
someone get Shared folders working with a Windows guest on Mac OS
Tiger (as am I). I have just tried it and I am *still* getting "System
error 67 has occurred. The network name cannot be found" when I try to
use the net command at the DOS prompt and "The network path
\\vboxsvr\Win2k1 cannot be found" when I try & use Tools>Map Network
Drive under My Network Places. My shared folder is called "Win2k1" &
lives under a folder I have created in the Applications folder for
Virtual Box objects (eg virtual disk images etc).

Does *anyone* have *any* idea what is going on (or not) here? Here is
the suggested procedure (which failed to help me).

1. removing all shared folders within the guest (any "Network Places" or
mapped drives that you have)
2. reboot guest
3. removing shared folders from VB
4. reboot guest
5. uninstalling guest additions from within the guest
6. reboot guest
7. reinstall guest additions from within the guest
8. reboot guest
9. define shared folders from VB
10. Add new "Network Places" or re-map drives.

Regards,

GAM
