HI, here's a problem I encounter in virtual box (running debian lenny). I download jetty, unzip it and run it. It starts fine. I stop it, it shuts down fine. I start it again, it hangs in the starting process, waits for more than a minute and then continues successfully the start procedure to run fine.
Here are my steps: wget http://dist.codehaus.org/jetty/jetty-6.1.16/jetty-6.1.16.zip unzip jetty-6.1.16.zip cd jetty-6.1.16 java -jar start.jar etc/jetty.xml I tried with the java packages provided by debian, and with the sun jdk. When trying this on 2 different ubuntu installations (not in virtualbox), one 8/10, and one 8/04 , it runs fine. I'm using Virtualbox 2.1.4 Anyone else encountered this problem?
