A while back, I posted VBox networking to my Host was flakey using VBox 2.1.4 The problem continued with 2.2.0
A few weeks ago I tried something different. I switched from NAT to Host Interface (bridging) and it appears the problem has been resolved. Interesting enough, I can't do ssh/http forwarding with anything other than the 100Mb card.
