So I locked the display on my Win XP host (ctl-alt-del; enter). When I attempted to unlock (ctl-alt-del; password) nothing happened. I noticed it was not even echoing keystrokes with splodges in the password text entry box. Flash of insight! Press HOST (Right Ctrl) key. Now my password works.
All this happened with Mouse Integration active. I suppose I should blame Win more than VBox for this discourteous behavior.
