Need I really use command line to configure port forwarding with NAT ?!?

I'm surprised, because there is a lot of parameters for virtual
machines that i don't understand, that are available by the GUI,
so i expected that port forwarding would be available by the GUI, too
(it's not very headache, and rather usefull, from my point of view)

You are right, ''VBoxManage setextradata'' sounds more like a hack

the more annoying is that i don't know what it will become if I make a mistake

and we will make this feature accessible from the GUI in some next
release. So far just still lack of time.

it'll be nice :-)

Well,
when i installed VirtualBox i didn't install command line tools,
because i didn't think i would need it also early
But i've found
/Applications/VirtualBox.app/Contents/MacOS/VBoxManage

So, can i use it, or should i reinstall VirtualBox with command line
tools ?

Yes, use that one.

thank you, it works fine :-)
